Fort Peck Wind Energy Residence Demonstration

Falcon designed, constructed, and operated a model energy-efficiency home in northeastern Montana.  The home was built in 2010 and demonstrated leading-edge energy efficiency concepts of passive solar design, state-of-the-art windows and doors, smart home electronic controls, and a residential-scale wind turbine.  The home was evaluated extensively and was opened to local contractors and the public to showcase achievable energy efficiency.  The wind turbine was manufactured by the Skystream company of Arizona.
