City of Monona Rooftop Solar Project

Falcon designed, constructed, and operated four rooftop photovoltaic systems (148 kw total) for the City of Monona.  The project was completed at the end of 2013 with the assistance of several subcontractors.  The project provided energy savings of about 10% of the City’s needs.  The project received recognition from the Wisconsin Renewable Energy Association in 2014 for its innovative public and private cooperation.  The project is still operating under the leadership of the Legacy Solar Cooperative which assisted Falcon during the design and construction.
